A Year of Music at the
Basilica of the National Shrine
of the Immaculate Conception
Dr. Peter Latona, Director of Music
Fall Ordinary Time (B) to Assumption (C)
The Basilica of the National Shrine of the Immaculate Conception in Washington DC is a large complex with two churches (upper, seating 6000; and lower seating 400) and many side chapels dedicated to the Blessed Mother under her various titles, such as "Our Lady of Knock," "Our Lady of Czestochowa," and "Our Mother of Good Counsel."
The fine music program at the Shrine is worthy of so noble an edifice.
