Easter Psalm is the perfect piece for a group of any size and any age range to sing during the Easter season. With text based on Psalm 118, it is joyful and energetic, simple yet powerful, with a refrain that is clearly inspired by the chant version of the Easter Sequence "Victimae paschali laudes." It uses a refrain/verse structure, and includes an optional descant for use after verses 3 and 4.

While this piece makes for a delightful choral anthem, it can also be used in places where a cantor/congregation response is desired, for example as a processional.

This is a rare choral gem that just about anyone can pull off effectively, and that you'll find yourself using year after year!
