A well-written organ accompaniment underscores this effective motet with text from Isaiah [Is 40:31].
It is found at the end of the First Reading for Wednesday of the Second Week of Advent:
They that wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength;
they shall mount up with wings as eagles.
They that wait upon the Lord shall run and not be weary.
They shall walk and not faint.
The accompaniment is well suited for the organ, with registration suggestion given by the composer.
The vocal writing is simple and elegant, with ranges within dramatic yet comfortable spectrums for all voice parts [soprano: E to F# / alto: B to D# / tenor: E to F# / bass: B to D#].
While the text is certainly applicable to Advent, it can also be sung at any Mass with a theme of perseverance or steadfast faith.
The composer notes that it may be particularly appropriate for All Saints Day or funerals.
