Superbly crafted in neo-Baroque style, this Fugue in g minor follows the rules of classic fugal composition.
The two-measure subject enters in the alto voice, followed by tenor, bass, and soprano, in normal tonic-dominant-tonic-dominant fashion.
The Fugue is of medium difficulty, with occasional consecutive eighth notes in two or three voices.
The alto voice must sometimes be shared between hands due to range.
This fresh new fugue, in a wonderful key, is worth the attention that must be spent on its mastering.
