Dr. J. William Greene has taken themes from the beautifully plaintive Lenten hymn, Wondrous Love, and constructed an outstanding Mass setting for use during Lent.
Included are "Lord, Have Mercy," "Holy, Holy, Holy Lord," three settings of the Mystery of Faith, "Amen" and "Lamb of God."
The work is published for cantor, SATB choir, soprano descant, congregation and organ, but can work equally well, once learned, with just congregation and organ.
