Andreas Willscher
 
A ndreas Willscher is an organist, author and composer living in Hamburg, Germany. One of his passions is collecting the sacred music of lesser known composers, such as Rene Vierne and Wendelin Knauschner.

He studied at the Hochschule für Musik und Theater in Hamburg under Günter Friedrichs (composition) and Ernst-Ulrich von Kameke (organ). He has served as organist at the conventual church of Saint Francis (OFM) in Barmbek-Kranichweg (Hamburg), Germany, since 1971.

In 1985 he won the Förderpreis für Musik of the Sudetendeutschen Landsmannschaft and in 1995 the Sudetendeutscher Kulturpreis für Musik

He has written music in various genres: a piano trio À E.T.A. Hoffman, a children's opera Barabam und Summel, organ works including Toccata alla Rumba and choral works including Requiem and Laudate omnes gentes.
