Sacred Heart Cathedral Anthems

selected by Dr. J. William Greene

Part I: Ordinary Time (Fall) through Lent

It's always enjoyable (and educational) to look at just what anthems are being sung by neighboring choirs... or choirs across the country. As dedicated church musicians, we so rarely have the chance to visit other churches... we're usually on the organ bench or behind the podium at our own churches. Here's a year's list of anthems sung at Sacred Heart Cathedral in Rochester NY, when Dr. J. William Greene was Organist/Choirmaster.
