oseph Knapicius is an early music enthusiast in Cleveland Ohio, USA.
He studied composition at Baldwin Wallace in Ohio in the late 1970s under the direction of Dr. Loris Chobanian and also began to play the viola da gamba there under the tutelage of Janet Winsenberger.
His compositional efforts blend early music and 20th century musical elements with the predominantly fundamentalist musical traditions of his upbringing.
Some of his compositions have been performed recently at Pilgrim UCC in Tremont, OH, Cathedral of Saint John the Evangelist in Cleveland, and the Albany Community Chorus in Albany, CA.
