ven as a college student, Adam Taylor has had considerable experience with music.
He has been involved with music ministry in three parishes: Saint James in Boonsboro, Maryland; Saint Mary in Hagerstown, Maryland; and Saint James the Greater, in Charles Town, West Virginia, where he currently serves as Assistant Music Director.
He has sung in honors choruses across the country (including the MENC All-Eastern Honors Chorus) and several local ensembles (including the Schola Carmeli, which he co-founded and directs).
In addition to singing, he has composed music for several ensembles, and plays trombone, recorder, guitar, ukelele, and (most recently) piano and organ.
Adam has an Associate of Arts degree in Music from Hagerstown Community College and is currently completing a Certificate in Web/Multimedia Development.
He plans to attend Shepherd University, in Shepherdstown, West Virginia, where he will work toward a Bachelor of Arts in Music with a Concentration in Composition.
He traveled to Italy in December 2008, singing with the Saint James Cappella Magna on their tour of Venice, Padua, Lucca, Florence, Assisi and Rome.
He currently resides in Keedysville, Maryland.
