Prayer over the Offerings:

Ac- cept, O Lord, the prayers of your faithful
with the sacrificial offer- ings;

that through these acts of devotedness
we may pass over to the glo- ry of heaven.

Through Christ our Lord. A-men.

Preface II of the Ascension of the Lord: [The mystery of the Ascension]

It is truly right and just, our duty and our salvation,
always and everywhere to give you thanks,
Lord, holy Father, almighty and eternal God,
through Christ our Lord.

For after his Resurrection
he plainly appeared to all his disciples
and was taken up to heaven in their sight,
that he might make us sharers in his divinity.

Therefore, overcome with paschal joy,
every land, every people exults in your praise
and even the heavenly Powers, with the angelic hosts,
sing together the unending hymn of your glory,
as they acclaim:

Holy, Holy, Holy Lord God of hosts…

Communion Antiphon:

Father, I pray that they may be one
as we also are one, alleluia. John 17:22 [Roman Missal]

Pater, cum essem cum eis, ego servabam eos, quos dedisti mihi, alleluia: nunc autem ad te venio: non rogo ut tollas eos de mundo, sed ut serves eos a malo, alleluia, alleluia. John 17:12, 13, 15 [Graduale Romanum, p.243]
Psalm 122:1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9 can also be sung between repetitions of this antiphon.

Pater, cum essem cum eis, ego servabam eos, quos dedisti mihi, alleluia: nunc autem ad te venio: non rogo ut tollas eos de mundo, sed ut serves eos a malo, alleluia, alleluia. John 17:12, 13, 15 [Gregorian Missal, p.390]

Sede a dextris meis, dixit Dominus Domino meo, alleluia. [Graduale simplex, pp.183]
Psalm 110, verses 1-6

Prayer after Communion:

Hear us, O God our Savior,
and grant us confi- dence,

that through these sacred mysteries
there will be accomplished in the body of the whole Church
what has already come to pass in Christ her Head.

Who lives and reigns for ev-er and ev-er. A-men.

Solemn Blessing: [6. Easter Time]

May God, who by the Resurrection of his Only Begotten Son
was pleased to confer on you
the gift of redemption and of adoption,
give you gladness by his blessing.
Amen.

May he, by whose redeeming work
you have received the gift of everlasting freedom,
make you heirs to an eternal inheritance.
Amen.

And may you, who have already risen with Christ
in Baptism through faith,
by living in a right manner on this earth,
be united with him in the homeland of heaven.
Amen.
