Preface II of Sundays in Ordinary Time: [The mystery of salvation]

It is truly right and just, our duty and our salvation,
always and everywhere to give you thanks,
Lord, holy Father, almighty and eternal God,
through Christ our Lord.

For out of compassion for the waywardness that is ours,
he humbled himself and was born of the Virgin;
by the passion of the Cross he freed us from unending death,
and by rising from the dead he gave us eternal life.

And so, with Angels and Archangels,
with Thrones and Dominions,
and with all the hosts and Powers of heaven,
we sing the hymn of your glory,
as without end we acclaim:

Holy, Holy, Holy Lord God of hosts…

Communion Antiphon:

Remember your word to your servant, O Lord,
by which you have given me hope.
This is my comfort when I am brought low. Psalm 119:49-50 [Roman Missal]

— or —

By this we came to know the love of God;
that Christ laid down his life for us;
so we ought to lay down our lives for one another. I John 3:16 [Roman Missal]

Memento verbi tui servo tuo, Domine in quo mihi spem dedisti: haec me consolata est in humilitate mea. [Graduale Romanum, p.346]
Psalm 119:1,2,25,28,41,74,76,81,82,114 can also be sung between repetitions of this antiphon.

Prayer after Communion:

May this heavenly mystery, O Lord,
restore us in mind and bod- y,

that we may be coheirs in glory with Christ,
to whose suffering we are united
whenever we pro- claim his Death.

Who lives and reigns for ev-er and ev-er. A-men.

Solemn Blessing: [10. Ordinary Time II]

May the peace of God,
which surpasses all understanding,
keep your hearts and minds
in the knowledge and love of God, and of his Son, our Lord Jesus Christ.
Amen.

And may the blessing of almighty God,
the Father, and the Son, + and the Holy Spirit,
come down on you and remain with you for ever.
Amen.
