enny grew up in Trenton, Michigan, and began service as parish organist in sixth grade.
At the time, he also sang the propers in Latin from the bench!
He studied organ with Dr. Eugene Lapierre from the National Conservatory of Music in Montreal, Quebec, from which he earned a certificate.
He also holds a Master of Divinity degree from Saint John's Provincial Seminary in Plymouth, Michigan.
Denny has served as pastoral musician and liturgist in the Diocese of San Diego for the past fifteen years, in parish, college and seminary settings.
He serves on the Diocesan Music Commission and guest-lectures on music in the liturgy in the deacon formation program.
A member of both NPM and AGO for many years, Denny currently serves as Director of Music and Liturgy for the Church of Saint Thomas More in Oceanside, California.
