Liturgical Hints & Ideas

The readings for the Vigil Mass of the Assumption speak of God's preparation for the salvific act of his Son, and Mary's role in it. The honor bestowed on the Blessed Virgin is a theme for today's liturgy. Music of a more reflective nature might better suit the vigil Mass; save the loud rejoicing for tomorrow.
