evin's interest in music began at a young age, starting piano lessons at the age of seven.
Into early adulthood, he would often play in combination with his brother and four sisters and would arrange music for them to perform on piano, harp, and violin.
As a cradle Catholic, this interest in music naturally led to being involved in music at church.
He started playing piano and organ at several parishes in the Diocese of Lafayette-in-Indiana, and later became Director of Music at Saint Joseph Monastery Parish.
Since 2016, Kevin has returned to Indiana as Director of Music at Saint Lawrence Parish in Lafayette.
He lives in Rossville, Indiana, with his wife and two children.
Kevin has a B.A. in Applied Piano from Indiana Wesleyan University and an M.M. in musicology from Ball State University.
He also has done significant work toward a Ph.D. in Musicology with a minor in Sacred Music at The Catholic University of America.
He has studied piano with Phoenix Park-Kim; organ with John Maher, Kirby Koriath and Robert Grogan; conducting with Leo Nestor; and musicology with Murray Steib and Andrew Weaver.
