This easy and singable Gospel Acclamation for the Advent season is based on the familiar tune Veni Emmanuel "O Come, O Come, Emmanuel." It is set here for cantor, congregation and organ. Simple optional C-instrument and handbell parts add interest without adding excessive complexity. All six Gospel verses necessary for Advent are included:

• Advent 2 ABC
• Advent 3 ABC
• Advent 4 A
• Advent 4 BC
• Immaculate Conception

This flexible setting is very easy for the congregation to learn (they already know the melody on which it is based) and makes a great new resource in the cantor/congregation repertoire.
