Psalm 145 [verses 8-9, 10 & 15, 17-18] is one of the Responsorial Psalm options for the Wedding Mass.
The refrain, "The Lord is compassionate to all his creatures," is easy for a wedding congregation to remember, and Thomas Kuras has given the text an easy, singable melody.
A particularly appealing aspect of this setting is that it is through-composed.
The gentle, but solid verses are all completely written out with accompaniment.
Although they all share the same metered melody (not a psalm tone), the slight rhythmic discrepancies among the verse texts are accommodated in the notation — the singer does not need to decipher small notes and "semi-ties" that would otherwise attempt to make the melody fit various verses.
The refrain, too, is written out in full between each verse.
The range for medium voice (D to D) helps make this a perfect Responsorial Psalm for cantors at weddings.
