Liturgical Hints & Ideas
This is a Marian feast, so music honoring Mary is appropriate. It occurs at the center of Christmastide, so seasonal carols are also appropriate (and welcomed). In general, sing as many carols as possible during the time from the Vigil Mass of Christmas to the Baptism of the Lord. This is the shortest of the liturgical seasons… with unquestionably the greatest number of familiar hymns (carols).
